St. Gerard's Statue Breaks
A statue of St. Gerard, patron of pregnant women, died from tuberculosis in 1755 in the city of CAPOSELE. It seems his body, in disease, may have broken away from his head. Saturday, the statue fell as it was being maneuvered from its transport carton; the head broke from the body.
Oddly, his death city CAPOSELE in translation means HEAD SELECTED.
On Easter, one may ask, "Who or what is dead, and who or what is not?... Spooky, no?
"...Of what use is it to lean on that which cannot give support?" - St. Gerard
